My Schedule
How staff view their upcoming shifts and mark unavailability.
What is My Schedule?
My Schedule is your personal view of the roster. It shows all the shifts you’ve been assigned to across upcoming roster periods — in a clean, easy-to-read format on both desktop and mobile.
Viewing your shifts
Go to My Schedule in the bottom navigation bar (mobile) or the sidebar (desktop).
Your upcoming assignments are listed chronologically. Each shift shows:
- The resource (room, bay, station, etc.) you’re assigned to
- The date, start time, and end time
- Any notes your admin has added
If no shifts are shown, either no roster has been published for your organisation yet, or you haven’t been assigned to any shifts in the upcoming period.
Marking yourself unavailable
If you can’t work a particular date or time range, mark yourself unavailable so your admin can see it before rostering you.
- Click Mark unavailable
- Set the start date and time
- Set the end date and time
- Add an optional note explaining the reason (e.g. “Annual leave”, “Medical appointment”)
- Click Save
Your admin will see an amber warning when they try to roster you during this time.
Editing unavailability
Find the unavailability record in My Schedule and click the Edit (pencil) icon to change the dates, times, or note.
Removing unavailability
Click the Delete (trash) icon on the record. Your admin will no longer see a conflict warning for that time.
Tips
- Mark unavailability as early as possible — it helps your admin plan the roster without having to make last-minute changes
- If your unavailability spans multiple days (e.g. a week of annual leave), you only need to create one record with a start and end spanning the full period
- Your admin can also add unavailability on your behalf — for example if you call in sick and they record it for you
